Lexie Hearing has been named on the list of TIME100 Most Influential Companies 2023, in recognition of the important work we’re doing to bring affordable and accessible hearing care to everyone, everywhere. TIME’s list of 100 Most Influential Companies of 2023 highlights businesses that are making an extraordinary impact around the world. We are incredibly proud and honored to have received this prestigious placement and to earn the TIME stamp of approval!

Earning a place amongst TIME100’s most influential companies globally is a remarkable recognition of our passion and commitment to bringing affordable and accessible hearing healthcare to everyone, everywhere. For the past 3 years, our team has worked fervently to make affordable hearing care a reality because we do not believe that people with hearing loss should have to pay thousands of dollars to have access to quality hearing care.

“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by TIME, next to some of the world’s most iconic brands. At Lexie, we work every day to create accessible hearing care for everyone, everywhere, and we’re thankful to TIME for the recognition of our positive global impact,” said Nic Klopper, Lexie Hearing Founder and CEO.

How is the TIME100 list determined?

TIME editors canvased nominations from its global network of contributors and correspondents, as well as from outside experts for its honorable TIME100 list. The editors assessed each nomination according to a variety of criteria, including impact, innovation, ambition, and success. The final list comprises 100 global businesses helping to chart an essential path forward.

In late 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the sale of over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids at retail and pharmacy stores. Today, Lexie’s OTC hearing aids help make hearing care more affordable and accessible for the 37.5 million Americans with hearing loss who need it. Available in more than 12,000 stores nationwide for a fraction of the cost of prescription hearing aids, the devices are helping consumers take control of their hearing and shaping public discourse on hearing health and hearing loss prevention.

“For too long, proper hearing care was under-prioritized and difficult to access. Hearing aids were exorbitantly expensive and required ongoing consultations,” said Klopper. “Lexie is changing that. We have changed an industry by offering more affordable solutions with high-powered technology, providing a clinically-proven hearing experience for a fraction of the cost of prescription hearing aids. Our over-the-counter hearing aids and award-winning customer support are life-changing for people with mild to moderate hearing loss who can now get Lexie hearing aids at the click of a button, and once again hear the people and life they love.”

Thank you for making this a reality

From everyone at Lexie Hearing, we would like to sincerely thank our partners, investors, and our customers for trusting and believing in our vision and for helping us grow in reach, to have a lasting impact on the hearing industry.
